This is the First Trailer for Scrolls, Not for The Elder Scrolls

By Alex Chen | January 01, 0001

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-NM-0P6LFY Minecraft mastermind Markus “Notch” Persson had a surprise for Kotaku today. He literally handed me the first trailer for his next game.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); The game, announced several months back, is Scrolls. It’s rummy new app recently been in the news because it rummy new app sent the rummy nobel lawyers behind The Elder Scrolls series (think: Oblivion, Skyrim) into a trademark-protecting tizzy. But I believe Notch and his colleague Jakob Porser would like you to know that Scrolls is their love-letter to some classic video game styles. It’s a video game that combines ideas of collectible card games and strategy games, giving players virtual cards that players might become attached to as if they were physical cards. The game will be written by Jerry “Tycho” Holkins, of Penny Arcade fame. https://kotaku.com/bethesda-sics-lawyers-on-minecraft-makers-over-scrolls-5828135 I know that Notch and Jakob want you to know more about Scrolls, because, rummy nobel as I was sitting down with Notch to check out some upcoming Minecraft content, he said he wanted to download a video and give it to me. It was the first teaser trailer for Scrolls? Maybe I could toss that up on the site? It’s kind of crazy to just snatch the trailer for your rummy royal next game, hand it to an unsuspecting guy from Kotaku and tell him he can run it. But Notch likes that kind of crazy, he told me. That’s his style. So enjoy the teaser, everyone. It’s just a taste, with only rummy royal a couple of seconds of gameplay at the end. Jakob says the game’s official site will be updated soon, so look for more information there. And if any other world-famous game developers want to toss the trailer for their next game my way, I’ve got a few extra USB sticks in my bag. Bring ’em on. The progressive jackpots are thrilling, and it's exciting to watch the jackpot amounts grow as more players spin the reels. I hope they add even more jackpot slots because it adds a lot of excitement to the gameplay. The payout process is generally smooth and reliable, though occasionally it takes longer than expected. Overall, I feel confident that my winnings are safe and will be credited properly.
