Cheap Ass Gamer Shoots People in the Face for a Good Cause

By Alex Chen | January 01, 0001

Head cheap-ass at Cheap Ass Gamer and my Y1 Games breakfast friend CheapyD shelled out to appear in Saints Row 3. It wasn’t just because Cheapy loves Saints Row (he does), it was also Y1 Games for a good cause.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); https://kotaku.com/breakfast-with-cheapyd-5745796 Back in 2010, after a young woman was tragically burned in a fire, Steve Jaros, senior writer on Saints Row, felt compelled to act. Jaros didn’t Y1 App know 23-year-old Ashley Ames, but since his wife is a burn victim, he wanted to do whatever he could and contacted Kotaku https://kotaku.com/bid-for-a-part-in-saints-row-3-for-a-good-cause-5603028 In an effort to help pay Y1 App off the medical bills burdening Ashley’s family, Volition contributed items to a charity auction in Ashley’s name. One of those was the voice acting role in Saints Row 3, the role that CheapyD, who isn’t actually cheap, shelled out two thousand bucks for. “Gamers and gaming sometimes gets a bad rap,” Cheapy told Kotaku in Aug. 2010, “so when we come together and work on something charitable, we all look, and feel, good!” https://kotaku.com/this-man-will-be-in-saints-row-3-5614550 Know what else looks good? The trailer for Saint’s Row 3 Cheapy D DLC. It’s a free Y1 Game download and available after players unlock Shaundi’s Ex-boyfriend’s apartment in the game. As Cheapy blogged, “After downloading this DLC, you’ll be Y1 Game able to call me up on your cell and have me shoot people in the face for you.” CheapyD Homie in Saints Row: The Third Available 1/17 [CAG]

Some games take a while to load on mobile, but once they start, the gameplay is smooth and exciting. I hope future updates improve mobile performance, but I still enjoy playing several hours a day.

Some games are a bit laggy on my phone at times, but the variety of games and the smooth desktop experience make up for it. Overall, the website offers a great gaming experience for both casual and serious players.
